Jun 22, 2026"Quick dinner here. We ordered the tang hoon lala soup and the fried brinjal. Both came quite fast. Verdict - it was alright but not significant nor wow for me. Self service chili and sambal which I really like. I requested chinese wine to go with the soup. Our next table lady ordered a bowl of porridge and that looks good ! She finished the entire claypot and seems hugely satisfied. Lol. Happy for her. Lol."

Sauce was fragrant but since no pork lard, lacking a little. Chicken meatball portion was good, but a tad dry for me. Overall very good place for a meal."

The food came out piping hot in traditional claypots, which made everything extra claypot "Wok Hey" and comforting. The porridge was smooth and flavourful, with generous ingredients, and the okra sdish was fresh with a nice balance of seasoning. What stood out most is how affordable everything is for the quality you get—definitely great value for money. The portions are decent, and the taste feels homely and authentic. If you’re looking for a simple, hearty meal without breaking the bank, this place is a solid choice. Will definitely come back again!"

May 23, 2026"Really enjoyed the warmth of the food, especially the Claypot! The soup perfectly suited my taste — the black pepper flavor was rich and delicious, and it even came with two drumsticks. The Claypot had a great wok hei too. The price of the Claypot is quite fair, especially considering it comes with seafood. The only small thing is that we felt the chicken could be a bit saltier, but overall, everything was delicious . We also really appreciated their service — we arrived at 2:30 PM even though they close at 3 PM, and they still served us kindly. Truly appreciate their hospitality!"

Here is my honest breakdown: 1)bWhite Lou Shu Fun (RM13.90): 7/10 – The best dish of our meal. (Though honestly, if you've tried the famous version over in Seri Kembangan at a different restaurant, that one is still far superior). 2) Stir Fry Romaine (RM11.90): 7/10 – Decent taste, well-cooked. 3) Signature Lou Shu Fun (RM9.90): 6/10 – Just okay, nothing memorable. 4) Glass Noodle Lala (RM13.90): 5/10 – Quite disappointing, lacked depth in flavor. While the food is acceptable, my biggest complaint is the ~6% service charge. The restaurant explicitly directs customers to a self-service counter to grab their own bowls, chili, vinegar, and etc. If customers have to do all the legwork themselves, why are we being forced to pay a service charge? It feels incredibly unfair to consumers. Flavor is average, but the service charge policy leaves a bad taste."
